Officer Code of Conduct

Modified on Wed, 25 Feb at 1:38 AM

Guardian Parking Authority is committed to professional, consistent, and documented parking enforcement.

All enforcement officers are required to follow established standards designed to ensure accuracy, fairness, and accountability.

Professional Conduct

Guardian officers are expected to:

  • Act professionally at all times

  • Follow posted property regulations

  • Document violations objectively

  • Avoid confrontation whenever possible

  • Treat residents and visitors respectfully

Officers are not authorized to negotiate, waive, or alter notices in the field.

Documentation Requirements

Before issuing a notice, officers must collect supporting documentation, which may include:

  • Time-stamped photographs

  • Clear license plate capture

  • Stall or signage verification

  • GPS location confirmation

This documentation forms the record supporting the notice.

Accountability

All enforcement activity is logged within Guardian’s internal system.

If you believe an officer did not act in accordance with these standards, you may submit a concern through the Guardian Support Portal for review.

Commitment to Consistency

Guardian applies parking rules as established by the property owner or authorized manager.

Our objective is consistent enforcement — not selective enforcement.
