What Personal Information Does Guardian Collect?

Guardian Parking Authority collects limited personal information necessary to administer parking enforcement on private property.


Under Canadian privacy law, personal information includes information about an identifiable individual. In the context of parking enforcement, this may include:

  • Vehicle license plate number

  • Photographs of a vehicle

  • Date, time, and location of a parking event

  • Payment transaction information (if provided)

  • Contact information submitted during payment or appeal


Guardian does not collect driver’s licence numbers or government-issued identification during routine enforcement.


Personal information is collected only for identified purposes related to parking management and enforcement.
