Payment Authorization & Chargeback Policy

Modified on Wed, 25 Feb at 1:30 AM

This article explains how payments are processed and how to address billing concerns related to a Guardian Parking Notice.

Payment Authorization

When submitting payment through the Guardian Parking portal, you authorize the transaction for the amount displayed at checkout.

Before completing payment, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Review the notice reference number

  • Confirm the vehicle details

  • Confirm the amount owing

  • Confirm the payment method

Submitting payment confirms that you have reviewed and authorized the transaction.

Secure Payment Processing

Guardian processes payments through secure third-party payment providers. Guardian does not store full credit card information.

A confirmation receipt is issued once payment is successfully processed.

If You Believe There Is a Billing Error

If you believe a payment was submitted in error or in duplicate, you should contact Guardian Support directly before initiating a chargeback with your financial institution.

Early communication allows us to:

  • Review the transaction

  • Correct duplicate payments

  • Clarify account status

Initiating a chargeback without contacting support may delay resolution.

Chargeback Notice

Submitting a chargeback after authorizing payment may result in:

  • Temporary account review

  • Administrative processing fees (where permitted)

  • Escalation of the original notice if reversed

If you have questions about a transaction, contacting support first helps ensure faster resolution.

How to Resolve a Billing Concern

Please submit your inquiry through the Guardian Support Portal and include:

  • Notice reference number

  • Transaction date

  • Last four digits of the card used

Our team will review the matter and respond accordingly.
