Residents with an active parking permit registered in the iStall system may have access to Guardian’s Click-to-Tow feature, where enabled by the property.

This feature is designed to help protect assigned stalls from repeated unauthorized use.

How Click-to-Tow Works

When your vehicle and assigned stall are properly registered in iStall, you may request enforcement at the click of a button if an unauthorized vehicle is parked in your space.

After submitting a request:

1. Guardian verifies your registered stall assignment

2. The unauthorized vehicle’s enforcement history is reviewed

3. Property authorization and signage compliance are confirmed

4. Escalation criteria are evaluated

Tow dispatch occurs only after verification.

Residents do not directly dispatch tow operators.

Temporary Parking Accommodation

To minimize disruption, once a Click-to-Tow request is submitted, Guardian provides the requesting resident with a complimentary 24-hour temporary registration on the property.

This temporary registration may allow parking in:

• An available reserved stall (where permitted), or

• Designated visitor parking

This ensures residents maintain parking access while enforcement is underway.

Progressive Enforcement Model

On most properties, Guardian applies a structured escalation process:

• First documented violation

• Second documented violation

• Third documented violation → Tow eligibility review

Click-to-Tow requests are evaluated within this enforcement framework unless immediate safety concerns exist.

Safety & Obstruction Situations

Vehicles parked in fire routes, blocking access, or creating safety hazards may be escalated more quickly where legally permitted.
